Private Residence
Maple City, Michigan

We built this three-stop tracker for a private residence up north.
The customer wanted a single manual organ of two or three stops for
his home. The pipework consists of an 8' Gedackt of wood, a 4'
Principal and a 2' Block Flute of spotted metal. We divided the
4' and 2' stops bass and treble, to give the little organ some more
flexibility. The slider chest, case shell, key and stop action are
new. The pipework, reverse-color keyboard and the blower/reservoir
combination are high quality re-purposed components. There are
three drawknobs on each side: the three on the left are the 8'
Gedackt and the 4' and 2' basses. The three on the right are the
4' and 2' trebles and the blower. The organ is provided with
casters, so it can be moved away from the wall to get at the chest
pallets and action. When we discussed the material for the
casework, the customer offered maple lumber that had been used for
flooring and trim in his home. We used that lumber for the project,
which helped the instrument match its new surroundings.
